A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPOINTING THE COUNTY
SHERIFF OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AS
THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City has
entered into a General Services Agreement with the County of Los
Angeles in order to utilize the facilities of the various departments
and agencies of the County in the administration of the affairs of
the City of Temple City; and
WHEREAS, Section 36505 of the Government Code requires the
City Council to appoint a Chief of Police;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows;
SECTION 1. The Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles is
hereby appointed the Chief of Police of the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. All deputies of the Sheriff of the County of
Los Angeles are hereby appointed police officers of the City of Temp!'
City.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of May, 1960.

1 HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the
