WAIVER OF NOTICE
OF
SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 22, 1975

We, the .undersigned, being members of the. Town
Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, do seve-
rally waive all statutory and Charter requirements as
to notice of time, place and purpose of a Special Meet-
ing of the Town Council, to be held in the Council Cham-
bers, 10 West Loudoun Street, Leesburg, Virginia, at
7 :30 P.M. , Tuesday, April 22, 1975, for the purpose of
discussing the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan
with members of the Leesburg Planning Commission, and
any other routine matter that may come before Council. a

MINUTES OF JOINT MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL AND
LEESBURG PLANNING COMMISSION, APRIL--22, 1975.
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held in the
Council Chambers , 10 West Loudoun Street, Leesburg, Virginia, on
April 22, 1975 at 7 :30 P.M. , pursuant to Waiver of Notice attached
hereto. Present were : Mayor G. Dewey Hill, Councilmen Charles E.
Bange, Mary Anne Newman, Herbert L. Ridder, James A. Rock and C.
Terry Titus. Absent was Councilman Robert A. Orr. Present for the
Planning Commission were : Chairman Hunter M. Leach, Members John W.
Davison, Jr. , Lynnwood L. Lay and William F. Webb, Jr. ; also Zoning "
Administrator Robert C . Forbes .
Members of Council and the Planning Commission discussed the
Comprehensive Plan and ordinances for the implementation thereof,
with particular attention to the proposed future Zoning Ordinance.
Also discussed were the study committees to be named to implement
the Plan, with Mayor Hill asking the Commission to make recommenda-
tions for members to serve on these committees .
On motion of Councilman Titus, seconded by Councilman Newman,
Council went into executive session at 9:05 P.M. to discuss a per-
sonnel matter.
Council reconvened at 11 :08 P.M. and the meeting was adjourned
at 11 :10 P.M.
