Notice is hereby given that there will be a Special
Meeting of the Leesburg Tom Council in the Council Cham-
bers, 10 West Loudoun Street, Leesburg, Virginia, on
Tuesday, June 24, 1975 at 8 :00 P.M. , for the purpose of
discussing personnel and any other routine matter that
may come before Council.

MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, JUNE 24, 1975.
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held in the
Council Chambers, 10 West Loudoun Street , Leesburg, Virginia on
June 24, 1975 at 8 :00 P.M. , pursuant to Notice attached hereto.
Present were: Mayor G. Dewey Hill, Councilmen Charles E. Bange,
Mary Anne Newman, Robert A. Orr, Herbert L. Ridder, James A. Rock,
C. Terry Titus ; also Acting Town Manager E. Wesley Devero.
Mayor Hill called the meeting to order at 8 :04 P.M. On motion
of Councilman Bange, seconded by Councilman Ridder, Council went into
executive session to discuss personnel matters .
On motion of Councilman Newman, seconded by Councilman Orr, it
was moved that Council go into regular session at 10 :14 P.M.
On motion of Councilman Rock, seconded by Councilman Ridder, the
following resolution was adopted, as shown :
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Acting Town Manager is hereby directed
to advertise for a person to fill the position of Town Manager
of the Town of Leesburg. Such advertisements shall be approved
and placed as directed by the Special Committee of the Council
as appointed by the Mayor, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such Special Committee is hereby
authorized to utilize such consultation and advertising as
are necessary.
Aye : Councilmen Bange, Newman, Orr, Ridder, Rock, Titus
and Mayor Hill.
Nay: None.
Councilmen Bange and Newman were appointed to serve with Mayor
Hill on the Special Committee .
On motion of Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Rock, the
meeting was adjourned at 10: 20 P.M.
