Re: May 13, 2008 Agreement for Professional Services between the Village
of Key Biscayne and Fielding Nair International, LLC (the "Agreement")
Thank you for taking the time to meet with me last week to discuss the scope of services under
the Agreement. Our discussion was helpful in understanding what sort of information the Village can
expect to appear in the Charter School Feasibility Report you will prepare. I would like to clarify the
scope of services under the Agreement so that it is consistent with our discussion.
My understanding is that the Charter School Feasibility Report will discuss the feasibility of the
Village creating various types of municipal charter schools and educational models. I further understand
that the Charter School Feasibility Report will include the feasibility of creating a traditional, "best of the
old" charter high school and that the analysis of each alternative will include a complete evaluation based
on academic, social, logistical, and financial perspectives.
If my understanding is correct, please acknowledge by signing and returning a copy of this letter
to me.
