RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves
August 7, 1972
The regular meeting of the Fraser Town Council was held August 7, 1972
at the town hall. Members present were: Bill Maynard, James Winter,
Steve Morrow, Cecil Baker and clerk Alta Gesellman. Mayor called meeting
to order at 8:15 p.m.
Guest present were: Jack Randall, Ron Erwin and Darrell Ray.
Moved by James Winter, 2nd. Cecil Baker and carried that warrants be
allowed.
Bill Maynard to represent tle town at meeting in Kremmling Aug. 9,
at 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Ray reported that he needed the 3 -2 beer license in order to
bring the revenue of the drug store up enough to hire someone to
operate that part of the business. He would than be able to
operate the liquor part to better advantage. This was the reason
he applied for the 3 -2 carry out license. Mayor opened discussion
on this license. Stated that before license be approved or rejected
he would like a vote by all town members. Two being absent, liciance
tabled untill next meeting.
Mr. Randall presented the board with a beginning proposal of plans
for the Babey property. Plans studied and discussed. Moved by
Cecil, 2nd by Jim and carried that preliminary plating of the
Babey property be accepted.
Mr. Erwin ask if anything had been done about getting water main
to his new store and apts; Needs this water about Sept. 1, 1972.
Also wants to know about the vacating of Eastom Ave. east of
railroad right of way toc. U.S. 4 40 between his property and
Art Johnson property. This street has not been developed.
Moved by Steve, 2nd. by Bill and carried that town vacate this
section of Eastom Ave. with the understanding that no developement
or permanent strucure be erected thereon.
