A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A DONATION
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting
donations for a specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following shall be accepted and gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
The donation of the sum of Three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($3,200.00) from Richmond Moose Lodge Number 167 L.O.O.M. to the Richmond Police Department. Such money shall be used to
purchase four (4) tasers with holsters.
Passed and adopted this _19th_ day of _July_______ 2004, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
