A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPOINT-
ING THE CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City was incorporated on the
25th day of May, 1960, as a general law city of the State of Calif-
ornia, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City has
determined that it is necessary for the efficient operation of the
City and for the benefit of all residents and taxpayers of the City
that a City Manager be appointed to assist the City Council in:the
administration of the affairs of the City, and
WHEREAS, Mr. William Woollett, Jr. possesses the lqualifi-
cations and experience to permit him to so administer the affairs of
the City in the best interests of the residents and taxpayers of
the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of Temple City
does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1: Mr. William Woollett, Jr. is hereby appointed
the City Manager of the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2: The salary of the City Manager is hereby es-
tablished as follows:
(a) Until such time as the City Manager is able to termin-
ate his employment with the City of Rosemead and assume the full time
duties as City Manager of the City of Temple City, he shall receive
a salary of $6.72 per hour for each hour of work which he devotes to
the affairs of the City of Temple City.
(b) When the City Manager has terminated his employment
with the City of Rosemead and has then assumed his full time duties
as City Manager of the City of Temple City, he 'shall receive a
salary of $14,000.00 per year and in addition thereto shall be en-
titled to be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses which
he may have incurred for the City of Temple City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of May, 1960.

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Temple City et a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th
day of May, 1960, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell & Fitzjohn.
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
