RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO HIRE AN APPRAISER TO UPDATE THE APPRAISAL FOR CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS,the City of Riverdale, Iowa purchased 10+/- acres in 2011 once referred to as the
Northwest corner of the Welch Farm; and
WHEREAS,the last appraisal of this property was done on October 25, 2011; and
WHEREAS, a Developer has expressed an interest in trading some land with the City; and
WHEREAS,the City does not want to consider an agreement without knowing the value of the
land.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIVERDALE, IOWA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to obtain a new or
updated appraisal for the 10 +/- acres owned by the City located northwest of the Welch Farm,
ending at the City Corporation line.
