MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, JULY 13, 1982 .
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held in 1
the Council Chambers, 10 West Loudoun Street, Leesburg, Virginia •
on July 13 , 1982 at 12 Noon, pursuant to notice thereof having
been delivered to all councilmembers on July 9 , 1982 . The meet-
ing was called to order by the Mayor, with the following present:
Mayor Robert E. Sevila, Councilmembers Charles A. Bos, Reginald K.
Gheen, Marylou Hill an`d John W. Tolbert, Jr . ; also Town Manager
John Niccolls, Assistant Manager Jeffrey H? Minor , Attorneys W. H.
Jolly and Steve Yost.
On motion of Mrs. Hill , seconded by Mr . Tolbert, Council voted
unanimously to go into executive session, pursuant to Section
2 . 1-344 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended (a) , Exemption (6)
for discussion of a legal matter pertaining to annexation:
Aye: Councilmembers Bos, Gheen, Hill, Tolbert and Mayor Sevila.
Nay: None.
It .is noted that Councilmember Howard M. Willis , Jr. joined the
meeting during the executive session.
On motion of Mr. Gheen, seconded by Mr . Tolbert, Council recon-
00 vened at 1 : 20 p.m.
CT On motion of Mr. Bos, seconded by Mr . Willis , Council voted
CD unanimously to appoint Mayor Robert E. Sevila to the negotiating
OD team for annexation purposes :

Q Aye: Councilmembers Bos, Gheen, Hill, Tolbert, Willis and
Mayor Sevila.
Nay: None.
There being no further business to come before this Council ,
on motion of Mr. Tolbert, seconded by Mr. Willis, the meeting was
adjourned at 1 : 25 p.m.
