AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO KEYTECH FOR
SAMPLE PAVING CORES
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret ("Borough") is in need of obtaining certain
paving and testing sample cores with regard to certain payment installed as part of
thc 2002 Road Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Engineer has recommended Keytcch to obtain said
paving sample cores; and
WHEREAS, Keytech has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a cost
not to exceed $800.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal of Keytech to obtain pavement sample cores with regard
to certain pavement installed as part of the 2002 Road Improvement
Program with regard to certain pavement installed as part of the 2002
Road Improvement Program is hereby approved in a total amount not
to exceed $800.00.
2. The appropriate Borough officials are hereby authorized to enter into
an agreement with Keytech to provide the above described services.
3. This award is entered into without competitive bidding due to being
below the bid threshold.

and certified as a tree copy of the
original on September 11, 2003.
