A RESOLUTION ON BEHALF OF THE
50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ALUMINUM COMPANY
OF AMERICA IN RIVERDALE, IOWA
WHEREAS, The Aluminum Company of America was the driving force
behind the development of the Town of Riverdale; and
WHEREAS, The Aluminum Company of America has supported and been
an integral part of the community since its inception; and
WHEREAS, The Aluminum Company of America has been a strong
supporter of the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
recognizes the 50th anniversary of the Davenport Works of the
Aluminum Company of America.
