RESOLUTION 1983-6
WHEREAS, Alice Tucker is a resident of the Town of Riverdale,
Iowa, and will celebrate her 100th birthday on August 26, 1983, and
WHEREAS, an event of this magnitude should be acknowledged and
proclaimed throughout the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Riverdale that August 26, 1983, be hereby declared "Alice Tucker Day" and
that the Mayor and Town Council extends its sincerest and warmest good
wishes to Alice Tucker on her 100th birthday, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an executed copy of this Resolution be
delivered into the permanent custody of Alice Tucker and that the original
executed counterpart thereof be filed in the office of the Town Clerk to be
kept as a part of the permanent records of the Town.
PASSED and APPROVED this 16th day of August, 1983.
