CITY OF TEMPLE , CITY.
TEMPLE CITY CALIFORNIA
January 29, 1963 .
Mayor Tyrrell' called' the .a,d'jou rned meeting of the City
Council to order. -
The following Councilmen were present:
Dickason, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell
Absent: Councilman Fitzjohn
Also Present: City Manager Woollett
Mayor Tyrell announced this was the reconvened meeting
of January 28, 1963, which adjourned until this time to consider
Resolution No. 62 -260.
City Manager Woollett advised the Planning Commission
had considered the petition for annexation and recommended to the
City Council that they proceed with the annexation of this property
to the City of Temple City. Councilman Dickason so moved, Council-
man Nunamaker seconded, roll call vote carrying the motion as
follows:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilman - Fitzjohn
Mayor Tyrell read title to Resolution No. 63 -260 A RESO-
LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION TO
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY OF CERTAIN INHABITED AND UNINCORPORATED
TERRITORY IN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, CON-
TIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AND DESIGNATED AS "TEMPLE CITY
ANNEXATION NO. 6 -A- INHABITED ". Councilman Merritt moved to adopt
Resolution No. 63-260, Councilman Dickason seconded, roll call vote
as follows which carried the motion:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilman - Fitzjohn
Mayor Tyrell presented a request from the Boy Scout organi-
zation requesting a proclamation declaring Feb. 7 -13 as Boy Scout
Week. Councilman Nunamaker moved to so proclaim, Councilman Dicka-
son seconded, the motion carried by the following roll call vote
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilman - Fitzjohn
Councilman Dickason moved to adjourn, Councilman Nunamaker
seconded, and carried.
