RESOLUTION NO. 60 -30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING
THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, DEPARTMENT
OF PARKS AND RECREATION, TO PROVIDE
ROADSIDE TREE SERVICE INSIDE THE CITY
LIMITS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City pur-
suant to the terms and provisions of that written agreement entitled
@General Services Agreement ", dated the 25th day of May, 1960, entered
into by and between the County of Los Angeles and said City, does here-
by request the County of Los Angeles to provide, through its Department
of Parks and Recreation, roadside tree service for the entire city.
Said roadside tree service shall be provided on request from the City
Council or its designated officer or agent.
SECTION 2. It is hereby requested that the Board of Super-
visors of Los Angeles County, or its designated agency or agent, ap-
prove and authorize the performance of the services requested in
Section 1 of this resolution, subject to those terms and conditions
set forth in and referred to as "General Services Agreement."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
certified copies of this resolution to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors.
