A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO PREPARE RESOLUTION AND OTHER DOCUMENTS AND
NOTICES AS SHALL BE REQUIRED TO ANNEX THE
TEMPLE CITY FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH TO TEMPLE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Arcadia did in March of 1959, annex by
Annexation No. 17 -A that certain real property therein described ownea
by the First Baptist Church of Temple City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arcadia in regular
session on May 3, 1960, granted the request of the said First Baptist
Church of Temple City ,and re- affirmed willingness for de- annexation
of the said church property from the City of Arcadia, and
WHEREASit will be necessary that provisions of the Uninhab-
ited Territory Act of 1939 be complied with before the aforesaid an-
nexation can be completed,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Temple City
does resolve as follows:
The City Attorney is instructed to consult with the City
Attorney of the City of Arcadia and to prepare a resolution and such
other documents as shall be required, and to do such other acts as
shall be necessary to enable the City of Temple city to act as rapidly
as possible to annex the said property of the First Baptist Church of
Temple City to the City of Temple City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at the incor-
poration meeting thereof held on the 25th day of May, 19b0, by the
following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell & Fitzjohn
NOES: Councilmen -None
