MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, MARCH 4, 1987.
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held in the Council
Chambers, 10 Loudoun Street, S.W. , Leesburg, Virginia on Wednesday March 4,
1987 at 7:30 p.m. pursuant to Waiver of Notice signed by all councilmembers.
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Mayor Charles J. Williams in the ab-
sence of the Mayor. Present were: Vice-Mayor Charles J. Williams, Council-
members Arl Curry, Brian T. Kelley and Jerry S. Pelkey, as well as Planning
Commissioners William F. Webb, Chairman, Marvin Belles, James Clem, Reginald K.
Gheen, John Groschan and Mervin Jackson. Absent from the meeting were Mayor
Robert E. Sevila and Councilmembers Hunter M. Leach and John W. Tolbert. Jr.
Staff members present were Town Manager Jeffrey H. Minor, Director of Planning,
Zoning and Development Martha M. Semmes and Zoning Administrator Mark Nelis.
As stated in the Waiver of Notice, the proposed commercial zoning districts
were discussed at length, with no action taken.
On motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
