A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY-COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPER-
VISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO PLACE THE CITY
ENTIRELY WITHIN ALHAMBRA JUDICIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City was incorporated as a
general law city of the State of California on the 25th day of May,
1960, and
WHEREAS, the territory of the City as incorporated lies
within three judicial districts of the County of Los Angeles, and
WHEREAS, the efficient administration of justice and law
enforcement requires that the City be located entirely within one
judicial district,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES. RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles is respectfully requested to amend the boundary lines of the
applicable judicial districts so that the incorporated City of Temple
City will lie entirely within the Alhambra Judicial District.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th day of May, 1960.
