AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO
THE SPORTSMAN FIELD FOOTBALL FIELD
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret desires to make certain improvements to
the Sportsman Field Football Field to serve the residents of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has solicited and received the
following bid proposal for said improvements to the Sportsman Field Football
Field as follows:
1. Country View, Inc. $210,310.00
WHEREAS, Country View, Inc., 780 New Brunswick Road, Somerset, N.J.
08873, submitted the lowest responsible bid for said work as evidenced by the
response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the above bid proposal and
desires to award a contract to Country View, Inc. for the same.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby
authorized to enter into a contract with Country View, Inc. to make
the above referenced improvements to the Sportsman Field
Football Field for the sum of $210,310.00, in accordance in all
respects with the request for proposals and bid on same.
Adopted this 2nd day of October 2, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the
original on October 3, 2003.
