MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, AUGUST 9, 1988.
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Counclil was held in the Council
Chambers, 10 Loudoun Street, S.W., Leesburg, Virginia on August 9, 1988 at
6:00 p.m., pursuant to Notice thereof having been delivered to all council -
members prior thereto. Present were: Mayor Robert E. Sevila, Councilmembers
James E. Clem, Christine M. Forester, Donald M. Kimball, Claxton E. Lovin and
John W. Tolbert, Jr.; also Town Manager Jeffrey H. Minor, Director of Planning,
Zoning -and -.Development Martha Mason Semmes,:Town-Attorney George M. Martin,
Deputy Town Attorney Deborah C. Welsh and members of the Dodonna Manor ad hoc
committee.
On motion of Mrs. Forester, seconded by Mr. Clem, Council voted unani-
mously to go into executive session, pursuant to Section 2.1-344(a)(2) of the
1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, to discuss the acquisition of real property '
and Section 2.1-344(a)(1) of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, to discuss
appointments to Council Commissions and Committees, with the following staff
to remain: Town Manager Jeffrey H. Minor, Director of Planning, Zoning and
Development Martha Mason Semmes, Town Attorney George M. Martin and Deputy
Town Attorney Deborah C. Welsh.
Aye: Councilmembers Clem, Forester, Kimball, Lovin, Tolbert and Mayor
Sevila.
Nay: None.
Council reconvened, with no action taken.
On motion made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
