A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A CHANGE FUND PROCEEDURE POLICY
WHEREAS,the City of Riverdale, Iowa("City")is a Municipal Corporation,organized and operating
under the laws of the State of Iowa;
WHEREAS,the City Council has the right and obligation to adopt rules of procedure; and;
WHEREAS,the City Council desires to create a Change Fund Procedure Policy for the purpose of
handling of currency transactions;
WHEREAS,the City Council has determined that the City will no longer make change for cash currency
received.For those with active accounts currency will be received in exact change and the remaining
balance credited to the customer's account.Anyone paying cash that does not have an active account can
request a refund at the next regularly scheduled Council meeting. This policy will become effective
November 1,2016;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa:
