MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, February 22, 1989
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on February
22, 1989 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 10 Loudoun Street, S.W. ,
Leesburg, Virginia, pursuant to notice thereof having been delivered to
all, council members prior thereto. Present were: Mayor Robert E. Sevila,
Vice Mayor John W. Tolbert, Jr. Council members James E. Clem, Christine
M. Forester, Donald A. Kimball, Claxton E. Lovin and William P. Mulokey;
also, Town Manager Jeffrey H. Minor, Director of Planning, Zoning and
Development Katherine L. Imhoff and Assistant Town Manager Steven C. Brown.
II/ The meeting was called to order by Mayor Sevila. Mayor Sevila then
adjourned the meeting until after the conclusion of the Council's Adminis-
tration and Public Works Committee meeting. At 10:10 p.m. Mayor Sevila
reconvened the meeting. On motion of Mr. Kimball, seconded by Mrs. Forester,
Council voted unanimously to go into executive session, pursuant to Section
2.1-344(a) (1) of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, to discuss personnel
matters related to the Planning Commission, Board of Architectural Review
and Deputy Town Clerk Position with the following staff to remain: Town
Manager Jeffrey H. Minor, Director of Planning, Zoning and Development
Katherine L. Imhoff and Assistant Town Manager Steven C. Brown.
Aye: Council members Clem, Forester, Kimball, Lovin, Tolbert, Mulokey
and Mayor Sevila.
Nay: None.
Council reconvened, with no action taken.
On motion made and duly seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
