Subject: Stop Beach Alcohol Consumption
Dear Mayor and City Council members,
I am writing to support the proposed ordinance restricting the consumption of alcohol on our beaches. Though I would
prefer that alcohol consumption was banned on all beach areas I will, for now, settle for the proposed areas. Alcohol
consumption on the hot crowded beach poses a serious threat to public safety. in addition, greatly contributes to the litter
problem on our beaches.
Please support the beauty of our beaches and the safety cif island residents and visitors by voting in favor of the ordinance
restricting the open consumption of alcohol on and around the beach.
