MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, MARCH 28, 1989.
A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on March 28, 1989
at 6:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 10 Loudoun Street, S.W. , Leesburg, Vir-
ginia pursuant to notice thereof having been delivered to all council members
prior thereto. Present were: Mayor Robert E. Sevila, Councilmembers James E.
Clem, Christine M. Forester, Donald A. Kimball, Claxton E. Lovin, William P.
Mulokey and John W. Tolbert , Jr.
On motion of Councilmember Forester, seconded by Councilmember Mulokey, Coun-
cil voted unanimously to go into executive session, pursuant to Section 2. 1-344(a)(6)
of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, for the purpose of discussing litigation
pertaining to the contract award of the municipal government center/auto parking
complex. Mr. Minor, Mr. Mason, Mr. Rio, Mr. York, Mr. Weber (project architect)
and Mr. Terrance Ney (special legal counsel) were requested to remain for this
meeting.
Aye: Councilmembers Clem, Forester, Kimball, Lovin, Mulokey, Tolbert and
Mayor Sevila.
Nay: None.
Council reconvened and reported that no action was taken during the executive
session.
On motion made by Vice-Mayor Tolbert and duly seconded by Councilmember Clem, the
meeting was adjourned at approximately 7:40 p.m.
