A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
IN RECOGNITION OF THE OUTSTANDING SER-
VICES OF ED HOWSER, SAM HARRIS, CARL CLARK,
DON HOWARD, JOHN BUTTIHELIA, WES DOWNING,
F. J. SNYDER, VERNA BRENNER, JAMES MADDEN,
ART WILL, RALPH TURNER, ANDE TAMBE, TEMPLE
CITY KIWANIS CLUB, AND TEMPLE CITY ROTARY
CLUB, IN THE INCORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RE-
SOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the incorporation of the City of Temple City has
greatly contributed for all time to the welfare of all of the people
within the boundaries of Temple City, and
WHEREAS the incorporation of Temple City was aided tremendous
ly by the unstinting efforts of certain members of thel:lncorporation
Committee, and
WHEREAS the City of Temple City shall forever remain grate-
ful for their efforts,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
RESOLVES as follows:
That the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby
declare that the City of Temple City is deeply grateful to
SAM HARRIS
DON HOWARD
RALPH TURNER
ART WILL
TEMPLE CITY KIWANIS CLUB
VERNA BRENNER
ED HOWSER
JOHN BUTTIHELIA
F. J. SNYDER
TEMPLE CITY ROTARY CLUB

JAMES MADDEN
WES DOWNING
ANDE TAMBE
for their excellent and wonderful work in assisting in the formation
of the City of Temple City and that their civic leadership shall re-
main a beacon light for others to follow.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly ad-
opted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 25th day of May, 1960, by the following vote
