Subject: Restriction of alcohol in open containers ordinance
Good afternoon, everyone,
I am writing in support of this ordinance. Both as a former prosecutor and criminal defense attorney I have
witnessed for years what happens when people drink too much, for example, DUI's, domestic violence assaults,
vehicular homicide, and murder.
Also I pick up bottles and cans every day when I walk on the beach or just about any street on Tybee.
