FYI:
Hi Shirley. There has been so many negative( some down right ugly) comments about the proposed open
container ordinance that I have to ask the question....are all of the people "talking " actual registered voters on
Tybee (permanent residents) or are they part of the problem?
Also, I find it outrageous that it is ok with some to keep the North Beach area family friendly and my family
should be what....driving to go to the beach so that my young grand children don't have to see drunken behavior
by all age groups. (60 year old boobs falling out of a bikini top, 50 year old falling down on the waters edge
and having to be dragged to keep his face from laying in the water, 3 sixty- something helping their 4th person
to stand up after consuming the case (yes, case. It wasn't in a cooler... just sitting in the sand) of beer, 14-15
year olds barely able to stand. The list go on..however to me the best reason is the increased danger to our
police officers and emergency personnel\
Iifeguards who put their lives on the line for all of us everyday.
