AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF
A EMERGENCY MEDICAL VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires a Emergency Medical Vehicle to
serve the residents of the community; and '
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has solicited and received the
following bid proposal for the purchase of a Emergency Medical Vehicle as
follows:
1. Vickery & Company $69,678.00 with
trade-in
WHEREAS, Vickery & Company, 233 Broad Street, Summit, N.J. 07901,
submitted the lowest responsible bid for said equipment as evidenced by the
response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the above bid proposal and
desires to award a contract to Vickery & Company for the same.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby
authorized to enter into a contract with Vickery & Company to
furnish one (1) Emergency Medical Vehicle for the sum of
$69,678.00 with trade-in, in accordance in all respects with the
request for proposals and bid on same.
