I am writing to see if you would please consider tabling the first reading/vote on the open container ban.
As you are aware Shawn Gillem our City Mgr has scheduled a zoom meeting with our business owners to
discuss the proposed ban next Monday.
It seems truly unfair to hold this meeting as you have agreed to this but also move forward with a first
reading/vote tonight.
Surely we will have some important and insightful information to lend to this proposal that so greatly changes
the way
we do business in the middle of a pandemic requiring social distancing. All of us recognize the need for some
changes.
We deserve the opportunity to share our experience in this matter.
