AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE UNDER THE
PFOVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-3009 through 12-3012, and K.S.A. 12-3301
and 12-3302 THE STANDARD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE FOR KANSAS CITIES, AS
TRAFFIC CODE FOR BEL AIRE, KANSAS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 20.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE:
SECTION 1. STANDARD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE INCORPORATED. There is hereby
incorporated by reference for the purpose of regulating traffic upon highways
and streets of the City of Bel Aire, that certain standard traffic ordinance
known as the "Standard Traffic Ordinance for Kansas Cities," 1985 Edition,
prepared and published in pamphlet form by the League of Kansas Municipalities,
112 West 7th Street, Topeka, Kansas, 66603. Not less than three (3) copies
of the standard ordinance shall be marked or stamped "Official Copy" as
Incorporated by Reference by the Code of the City of Bel Aire, with all
sections or portions thereof intended to be omitted if any, clearly marked
to show any such deletion or change and filed with the City Clerk to be open
to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours. The
department, municipal judge and all administrative departments of the City
charged with the enforcement of the ordinance shall be supplied at the cost
of the city, such number of official copies of such standard ordinance
similarly marked, as may be deemed expedient.
SECTION 2. Ordinance # 20 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
