AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
CME ASSOCIATES FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR A
WATERFRONT ACCESS ROADWAY
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
design services in connection with the construction design for a new
watedront access roadway; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates possesses the requisite skill and expertise to
provide said services; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said
engineering services at a total cost not to exceed $ 48.650.00: and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal and wish
to award a contract to CME Associates to perform the above referenced
engineering design services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will
be available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Car~eret, Counb/of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for engineering design
services for the construction of a new waterfront access
roadway at a total cost not to exceed $48.650.00 is hereby
approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract.
