RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPOINTING A STENO-
GRAPHER- SECRETARY
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City was incorporated as a
general law city of the State of California on the 25th day of May,
1960, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the efficient operation of
the affairs of the City that the City Council appoint a Stenographer -
Secretary,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: LaVina Nixon is hereby appointed a Stenographer -
Secretary of the City of Temple City to serve at the pleasure of the
City Council.
SECTION 2: The employment of LaVina Nixon shall be effec-
tive as of July 18, 1960.
SECTION 3: The Stenographer- Secretary shall receive a
salary of $355.00 a month and shall receive a 5% increase every six
(6) months to a maximum of $395.00 a month.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 1960.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 11th day of July, 1960, by the following
vote of the Council.
AYES: Councilmen- Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell & Fitzjohn
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
