RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY APPOINTING A DEPUTY CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City was incorporated as a
general law city of the State of California on the 25th day of
May, 1960, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the efficient operation of
the affairs of the City, that the City Council appoint a Deputy City
Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Godfrey Lumsdon is hereby appointed as Deputy
City Treasurer of the City of Temple City to serve at the pleasure
of the City Council.
SECTION 2: The employment of Godfrey Lumsdon shall be
effective as of July 1, 1960.
SECTION 3: The Deputy City Treasurer shall receive a
salary of $15.00 per month.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 1960.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 11th day of July, 1960, by the following
vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell
& Fitzjohn
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
