Mayor Sessions called the workshop to order at 4:00PM. Those i n
attendance were Monty Parks, John Branigin, Barry Brown and Nancy
DeVetter. Also attending were Shawn Gillen, City Manager and Jan
LeViner, Clerk of Council.
Shawn Gillen:
Budgeted the amount but did not allocate.
Waivers were discussed
John Branigin:
In reviewing, most requests were for spring and summer. Most
event have come and gone.
Recommended with the exception of MLK, need to make the
whole on non-parade events
No discussions of parades
Post Theater is asking for dollars for waivers
Monty Parks:
Some aren’t event related
Need to look at those who need now
Nancy
Bring back for next budget cycle.
If any event related – deny and bring back in March
