HomeMy Public PortalAbout1993_01_19451 03 0 Z SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF JANUARY 19, 1993 A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on January 19, 1993, at 5:30 p.m., in the second floor Councilmember's meeting room, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, Virginia. Notice having been delivered to all members of the Council prior thereto. The meeting was called to order by Mayor James E. Clem. The purpose of the special meeting was to conduct an interview for an appointment to the DuHes Toll Road Planning Committee. An interview and discussion regarding this issue were conducted. Clem STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT Town Manager Steven C. Brown MOTION On motion of Mr. Webb, seconded by Mr. Trocino, the following resolution was proposed and unanimously adopted. 93-14 - RESOLUTION - NOMINATING VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE ON THE LOUDOUN COUNTY TOLL ROAD PLAN CITIZENS COMM1TrEE WHEREAS, the Land Use Committee of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers with technical expertise in various areas of land development to serve on the Toll Road Plan Committee; and WHEREAS, representation is being sought from the Town of Leesburg. THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: The Mayor and Town Council have nominated Leesburg residents Sid Lissner and Michael BanThaf and Loudoun County resident Templar Titus to represent the Town of Leesburg on the Toll Road Plan Citizens Committee.
