AUTHORIZING CARTERET COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
TO REQUEST FUNDING FOR THE WASmNGTON AVENUE
BUSINESS DISTRICT REVITALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, Middlesex County, seeks to revitalize the
downtown business area as a means to increase their economic viability by providing
facade' improvements including awnings, doors and windows; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret hereby authorizes the Director of Community Development to seek funding
from the Middlesex County Downtown and Business District Improvement Fund that
would facilitate the economic growth and revitalization of the Carteret (Washington
Avenue) Business District.
Adopted this 16th day of October, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the
original on October 17, 2003.
