RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY PROVIDING FOR CREDIT AGAINST CITY
LICENSE WHERE COUNTY LICENSE HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY
PAID
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has adopted an ordinance
No. 60 -10, being an ordinance of the City of Temple City amending
the Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, by providing for
adoption of the County of Los Angeles Ordinance No. 5860, as
amending and regulating licenses and businesses, and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has heretofore collected
certain license fees pursuant to said Ordinance No. 5860, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Temple City to
give credit for all license fees paid to the County of Los Angeles
for the year of 1960 against such fees as may be due to the City
of Temple City under the adoption of the aforementioned Temple City
Ordinance No. 60 -10,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: All fees paid to the County of Los Angeles,
pursuant to County of Los Angeles Ordinance No. 5860, as amended,
regulating and licensing businesses shall be deemed and are hereby
declared to be a credit against the license fees paid to the City
of Temple City under Ordinance No. 60 -10, being an ordinance of the
City of Temple City amending the Municipal Code by providing for the
adoption of the County of Los Angeles Ordinance No. 5860, as amended,
regulating and licensing businesses.
SECTION 2: The credit reference in Section 1 shall be a
credit for fees paid for the current year of 1960, and any unpaid
portion of any license fees unpaid, after allowing the referenced
credit, shall be paid to the City of Temple City.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Temple City is
hereby authorized to determine the allowable credit and this deter-
mination shall be final.

meeting thereof held on the 11th day of July, 1960, by the following
vote of the Council;
AYES: Councilmen- Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell & Fitzjohn
