AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been deterinined that it is now necessary to appro-
priate more money than was appropriated in the annual
budSet.
TIOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana:
SECTION 1, That for the e.,penses of said municipal corporation
the following additional sums of money are hereby appro-
priated and ordered set apart out of the several appro-
priations, herein named and for the purposes herein
specified, subject to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. [�Ihereas, it has been shown that certain existing appro-
priations now have unobligated balances which will not
be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it
is .further ordained that the following existing appro-
priations be reduced in the following amounts:
MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY
1000 - Personal Services S 16,213 $ 16,213
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and sifter its passage and approval by the Mayor and is
subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF
PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
Notice is hereby givon the taxpayers of the City of Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at
their regular meeting place at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on 6th day of
February 19 84 , will consider the fo owing— additional
appropria ions 7n excess of —We budget for the current year.
MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND
2000 - Supplies .................. $ 16,213.00
Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon.
The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred Lo the State
[bard of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further
hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor's Office of said County,
or at such other place as may be designated. AI. Such hearingl axpayers
objecting to any of such additional appropriation-, may be heard. Interested
taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when +md where such hearing
will be held.

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general pirculation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Public Law 54 and
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of
by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations
as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond,
Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and
found to be correct and in order. Councilman moved the proof
of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded
by Councilman , and on voice vote the motion was carried.
