Mr. Howard J. Elstro and
Members of Common Council
Dear Mr. Elstro: RE: Transfer Ordinance No. 11-1984
Motor Vehicle Highway
This Ordinance transfers funds out of salaries to supplies and other
services and charges in the amount necessary to cover expenditures from
January 1st to March 31st; at which time all supplies and building and
equipment repairs will be funded by Revenue Sharing.
This transfer out of salaries will be made up by setting aside the same
dollar amount of Revenue Sharing money - see Ordinance No. 12-1984.
The entire supply budget of $224,625.00 and $46,370.00 of the services
and charges budget was cut by Tax Commissioners at the City's budget hearing
in 1983.
In total, there is no change in the total amount of salaries, and the
supply & services and charges budgets have been re-established in the amount
equal to the original proposed budget before Tax Board cuts except for a
$10,000.00 switch from supplies to services and charges.
