WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money that was appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND Department of Public Works Engineering Division 1000-Personal Services 6,131.00 6,131.00 Clerk 1000-Personal Services 2,134.00 2,134.00 Board of Public Works & Safety 1000-Personal Services 2,134.00 2,134.00 TOTAL 10,399.00 10,399.00 SECTION 2. Ordinanc- No 16-19R4 EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City March 19, 1984 at the hour. of 7:30 p.m. ' Councilman Williams resided with the following members present: Messrs. Brookbank , Hankinson Whitesell Parker Bodiker , Lemoine , orris ' Absent: Elstro ' The following business was had, to -wit: ' (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of eneral circulation in the City of c Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Mar9, 1984 and Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 19th day of by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No.16-1984 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Parker moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Hankinson , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The attached worksheet details the original net savings of $168,182.00 that was generated from reorganization and the uses of these savings to date. lntra Departmental transfers within a Major Budget Cetegory can be made with- out prior notice or subject to approval.
