WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana. SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject of the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED PARK & RECREATION FUND 3000-Other Services & Charges $10,000.00 $10,000.00 TOTAL 10,000,00 10,000.00 SECTION 2. Whereas, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which app- ropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED PARK & RECREATION FUND 1000-Personal Services $10,000.00 $10,000.00 TOTAL 10,000.00 10,000.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. Hankinson Whitesell Parker Bodiker = femoine Morris Absent: none ' The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of and Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. 29-1984 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 29-1984 President Elstro announced that Ordinance No. 29-1984 was on public hearing. Movedfor Adoption Seconded March 28, 1984 Mary Merchanthouse Richmond City Clerk 50 North 5th Street Richmond, Indiana 47374 Re: Transfer of Funds Dear Mary: I would like to request that ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) be transfered from the salary of the Superintendent into the contractual services budget. Contractual Services is under number 3-3990 of the Park Department budget. This request is based upon the need to repair the roof at the Municipal Stadium.
