AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to
appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
annual budget for Social Security and PERF.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Richm ond, Wayne County, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation
the following additional sums of money are hereby
appropriated and ordered set
apart out of the several
appropriations, herein named
and for the purposes
herein specified, subject to
the laws governing the
same:

COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session
In the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City .tune 4, 1984
at the hour of 7:30 p.m.
Councilman Elstro presided with the following members present: Messrs.
Brookbank , Hankinson , whitesell , Parker ,
Bodiker Lemoine Morris

The following business was had to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of May 25, 1984 . and
Said notices stated that a public hearing would -Si -Fold on the 4th day of
June , by the Common Council to consider additionn-arappropria-
ons as provided or in Ordinance No. 40-1984 , within the City of
Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication—aposting of notices were
examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Parker
moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and or Bred
filed, seconded by Councilman Hankinsou , and on voice vote the motion
was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 40.1984
President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 40-1984 was on public hearing.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 40-1984 was placed on
final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll -moll ing was recorded.,

Additional Social Security and PERF in General Fund
This appropriation ordinance increases the employee benifits of Social
Security ( City Match 7% ) and PERF ( City Match 5:5 % ) in those
departments where reorganization generated additional salary and likewise
decreases benefits where appropriate.
