PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR MILIK STREET
S, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") received a two hundred and ten
housand dolhu ($210,000.00) NJDOT Municipal Aid Grant for the rehabilitation of
t betv~een Blair Road and Minue Street (the "Project"); and
,S, on or about February 26, 2001, the Borough received a proposal (the
'Proposal") from T&M Associates for engineering services for the design and
:onstruction phase of the Project for a total cost of $36,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council ha~/e reviewed the Proposal and the Oqief Financial
Officer has certilied that funds for the same are available.
OW, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:

The Proposal from T&M Associates for engineering services to provide
design services for the Project as set forth in the Proposal of FeNuarv 26,
2001 at a total cost not to exceed S 17,000.00 for said services ~s approve'&
Thc Proposal from T&M Associates to provide construcnon phase
engineering services for the Project as set forth in the Proposal of February
26, 200I for a total cost not to exceed $I9,000.00 for said serx~ces is
approved.
Annexed hereto is a copy of the Proposal.
This action is approved without competitive bids as award of a proIessional
contract. A notice of this award shall be advertised as required b} lax~..
