Re: Transfer in Off -Street Parking Fund - Ordinance # 45-1984
The Off -Street Parking facilities reopened for operation on April 1, 1984 and
certain budget items need to be re-established due to cuts by the State Tax
Commissioners. Funds to re-establish these budgets will be taken from the
savings generated by the elimination of several payroll positions. The cashiers
and one maintenance person remain on payroll with all managerial duties being
handled through the Clerk's Office and cleaning being accomplished by the Mall
personnel through the Park Department.
The funds being transferred will be used for electric current, a service contract
for the elevator and to purchase, jointly with the Park Department, a billy
goat type sweeper.
Respectfully,
Mary Merchanthouse, Manager
Off -Street Parking
