WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money that was appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiaan: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of"the:several'appropriations;:herein'.namedradd for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPPROPRIATED OFF-STREET PARKING FUND 3000-Other Services & Charges $21,059.38 $21,059.38 4000-Capital Outlays 400.00 400.00 Total 21 459:3& 21,459.38 SECTION 2. Wig iams Brookbank Hankinson Whitesell Parker Bo iker Morris Absent.• Lemoine The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Public Law 54 and Siid notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 45-1984 President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 45-1984 was on public hearing. WALTERMANN MAYOR ��fl]pNP MARY MERCHANTHOUSE CITY CLERK May 1, 1984 To: Members of Common Council From: Mary Merchanthouse, Manager Off -Street Parking Re: Transfer in Off -Street Parking Fund - Ordinance # 45-1984 The Off -Street Parking facilities reopened for operation on April 1, 1984 and certain budget items need to be re-established due to cuts by the State Tax Commissioners. Funds to re-establish these budgets will be taken from the savings generated by the elimination of several payroll positions. The cashiers and one maintenance person remain on payroll with all managerial duties being handled through the Clerk's Office and cleaning being accomplished by the Mall personnel through the Park Department. The funds being transferred will be used for electric current, a service contract for the elevator and to purchase,jointly with the Park Department, a billy goat type sweeper.
