A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY
COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, RESCINDING RESOLUTION 14-06; PROVIDING FOR
FINDINGS AND PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO, ON
BEHALF OF SAID MUNICIPALITY, A STATE LOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF McCALL AND THE IDAHO TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the McCall City Council passed Resolution 14-06 on March 27, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 14-06 authorized execution of a State Local Agreement with the Idaho
Transportation Department for development and construction of Redevelopment Area Sidewalk
Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Idaho Transportation Department has withdrawn the above referenced
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Idaho Transportation Department, hereafter called the STATE, has submitted a
new Agreement stating obligations of the STATE and the CITY OF MCCALL hereafter called
the CITY, for development and construction of Redevelopment Area Sidewalk Improvements;
and
WHEREAS, the STATE is responsible for obtaining compliance with laws, standards and
procedural policies in the development, construction and maintenance of improvements made to
the Federal-aid Highway System when there is federal participation in the costs; and
WHEREAS, certain functions to be performed by the STATE involve expenditure of funds as set
forth in the Agreement; and
WHEREAS,the STATE can only pay for work associated with the State Highway System; and
WHEREAS, the CITY is fully responsible for its share of project costs; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL:
Section 1: That Resolution 14-06 is hereby rescinded.
Section 2: That the new Agreement for Federal Aid Highway Project A014(431) is
hereby approved.
Section 3: That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement on behalf of the CITY.
Section 4: That duly certified copies of the Resolution shall be furnished to the Idaho
Transportation Department.

Section 5: This resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
