WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND Mayor 1000-Personal Services $ 1320.00 $ 1320.00 Clerk 1000-Personal Services 915.00 915.00 Board of Works 1000-Personal Services 1040.00 1040.00 Weights & Measures 1000-Personal Services 600.00 600.00 TOTAL $ 3875.00 $ 3875.00 SECTION 2, W[MREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. Brookbank , Hankinson , Whitesell Parker Bodiker , Lemoine ' Morris Absent: Williams The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of May 25, 1984 and Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of June , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. 60-1984 , within the City of Richmond., Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Morris _ moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Bodiker , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 60-1984 President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 60-1984 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 60-1984 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Brookbank , Hankinson Whitesell Parer Bodiker Lemoine Morris 'Eistro' _ — Noes: , Absent: wil isms ' The vote bein'--- - - 984 g to in favor of passage of Ordinance No. (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the meeting was adjourned.
