WHEREAS, it has been determined -that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the expenses of the Department of Economic Development for the year ending December 31, 1984. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND Department of Economic Development 1000-Personal Services $ 36,300.00 $ 36,300.00 2000-Supplies 2,500.00 2,500.00 3000-Other Services & Charges TOTAL 48 500.00 87,300.00 48 500.00 87,300.00 SECTION 2. Williams , Brookbank , Hankinson , Whitesell , Bodiker Lemoine Parker • Morris Absent: none • The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of June 8, 1984 and Said notices stated that a public hearing wou ld on the 18t day o June , by the Common Council to consider addition -a eppropria- ons as provided or in Ordinance No. 64-1984 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of Publication.posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Whitesell moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and"oaered filed, seconded by Councilman Morris , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 64-1984 President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 64-1984 was on public hearing.
