Home My Public Portal About077-1984 -STRICKEN - REZONING - 528 530 536 600 602 604 AND 606 NORTHWEST L STREETGENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 77-1984 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 154 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY, OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 528, 530, 536, 600, 602, 604 AND 606 NORTHWEST "L" STREET, FROM R-2 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND M-2 GENERAL INDUS- TRIAL DISTRICT TO C-4 GE14ERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 desig- nates and describes as R-2 One -Family Residence District, the property located at 528, 530, 536, 600, 602, 604 and 606 Northwest "L" Street; and, WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classi- fication of said property from R-2 One -Family Residence District and M-2 General Industrial District to C-4 General Business Dis- trict; and, WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan Commission the day of , 1984, at which time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or affected by this Ordinance. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was to in favor of/in opposition to recommending the passage of Ordinance No. 77-1984. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the property described below be, and the same is hereby changed to C-4 General Business District, and that said property be regulated in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all amendments thereto. The following described real estate situated in Richmond, Indiana, to -wit: Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in Ratliff is Mapleton Addition SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by law required.
