HomeMy Public PortalAbout079-1984 - ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE SALARIES WAGES AND POSITIONS FOR APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE SANITARY DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEARORDINANCE NO. 79-1984 AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE SALARIES, WAGES, AND POSITIONS FOR APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE RICHMOND SANITARY DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1985, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1985, AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF SANITARY COMMISSIONERS. WHEREAS, Indiana Code, I.C. 36-9-25-10 authorizes the Richmond Board of Sanitary Commissioners to set the positions, salaries, and wages of its officers and employees; WHEREAS, the Board of Sanitary Commissioners has set the positions, salaries, and wages of its officers and employees, pursuant to its Resolution No. 13-1984, adopted June 26, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond desires to ratify the positions, wages, and salaries of the Sanitary District and to incorporate Resolution No. 13-1984 of the Richmond Board of Sanitary Commissioners into the salary ordinance for the City of Richmond, Ordinance No. 75-1984, NOW THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana that: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 13-1984, adopted by the Board of Commissioners for the Richmond Sanitary District on June 26, 1984, is hereby adopted by reference, ratified and incorporated into this Ordinance as supplementing the salary ordinance for other City of Richmond officers and employees, being Ordinance No. 75-1984. SECTION 2. Resolution No. 13-1984 of the Board of Sanitary Commissioners assigns the following salaries to the following City officials: CITY ATTORNEY 11,400.00 CITY CONTROLLER 8,000.00 DEPUTY CONTROLLER 3,600.00 PAYROLL MANAGER 2,484.00 PERSONNEL DIRECTOR 3,600.00 PURCHASING DIRECTOR 8,750.00 Such allocation has been provided for in Ordinance No. 75-1984 and are included here for illustrative purposes only, and are not intended as additional compensation beyond the total salaries established for those positions in Ordinance No. 75-1984.
