RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY SET-
TING NO CITY TAX RATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City was incorporated as a gen-
eral law city of the State of California on the 25th day of May, 1960,
and
WHEREAS, the reserves and revenues of the City of Temple City
arising out of the City's share of gas taxes, sales taxes, in liieu
taxes and other sources of revenue are adequate to operate the City,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City expects to enjoy a surplus
at the end of 1961 while at the same time providing a higher level of
municipal service to its people than heretofore furnished as an unin-
corporated area,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby set no city tax rate for the year 1960 -1961.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 1960.
