NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY,INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the -expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND Finance Dept. 3000-Other Services & Charges $1,050,00 $1,050.00 SECTION 2. 6gFREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in --the following amounts: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED GENERAL FUND Finance Dept. 1000-Personal Services $1,050.00 $1,050.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall -be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City August 20, 1984 at the hour. of 7.30 P.K. ' Councilman Elstro Presided with the following members present: Messrs. Williams , Brookbank , Hankinson , Whitesell Bodiker , L_e_moine , Morris - Absent: Parker , The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of and Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman �, and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 94-1984 President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 94-1984 is on public hearing After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 94-1984 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Williams , Brookbank Hankinson Whitesell Bodiker Lemoine Morris E stro Noes: none , Absent: Parker The vote being 8 to 0 _ in favor of passage of Ordinance No. -1984 (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the meeting was adjourned. Savings in the 1000 category is Social Security and PERF on Personnel Director. No need to advertise
